How can I add an additional fee to Cash on Delivery orders?
To add an additional fee to Cash On Delivery (COD) orders, visit the app's settings, and you can enable COD as a payment option and define the fee type, price, and name for the Cash on Delivery orders.
Is it possible to activate Cash on Delivery in one market and deactivate it in other markets?
Yes, you can activate/show the Cash on Delivery just for specific markets/countries by visiting the Limit COD page of the app and you will find the option to enable COD only for markets/countries of your choice. With this option active, your Cash on Delivery payment method will only be visible to your customers of the option you chose and customers outside it will only see your other payment methods.
Can discount codes automatically remove Cash on Delivery in Shopify?
Shopify doesn’t allow this directly but it is possible when using the Releasit Cash on Delivery app. You can disable Cash on Delivery if the order contains any discount which is exactly what you are looking for. Visit the Limit COD page in the app and you will find here the option to disable COD if the order has discounts.
Can I turn off the Cash on Delivery when the customer chooses the personal pickup?
Yes. When installing the Releasit Cash on Delivery, you will notice the Limit COD page and you will find the option to disable COD for local pickup. With this option active, your Cash on Delivery payment method will not be visible for customers using local pickup.
Can I exclude gift cards from the Cash On Delivery option in Shopify?
This is not directly possible in Shopify's settings, but you can do it with Releasit. After you install the app go to the Limit COD page and you will find the option to disable Cash on Delivery for gift cards. With this option active, your Cash on Delivery payment method will not be visible if the customer has a gift card on his cart.
How can I limit the maximum order price on cash on delivery?
With Releasit, you can disable Cash on Delivery if the order total is above a certain limit. After you install it you can go to the Limit COD page and you will find here the option to disable Cash on Delivery if the order has discounts.
